Michael Sean Collins
Michael Sean Collins, Canadian actor, comedian, poet and performance artist, entered the performance scene in Toronto at age ten as a magician, and by thirteen was heralded by the Toronto Press Club to be the youngest professional magician in Canada. His appearances over the past thirty years include television, film, 2000 seat theatres, fire halls, circuses and underground performance venues across the United States and Canada. In 1984, Mr. Collins moved to New York City and began performing on the experimental theatre circuit, where he was recruited as Artist in Residence by the New York Police Department and commissioned to create a theatre program for at-risk-youth in Alphabet City.
Michael Sean Collins has been writing poetry for over twenty years. He currently performs his work to enthusiastic audiences throughout New York City and the Hudson Valley, where he now resides.
