Read for Food (RFF) owes its existence to two forms of sustenance: food and poetry.
In 2009, there was a dramatic and historical increased in the hunger-at-risk-population.
That same year, Read for Food began organizing literary events in order to raise money for food pantries.
The goal of Read for Food is to enrich the community by:
1) Providing entertaining literary events.
2) Gathering donations.
3) Distributing 100 percent of the donations it receives to food pantries.
